A bag charm is a larger hang that reads on a tote zipper: about 30 to 50 millimeters, on a lobster, a clip, or a split ring. It is jewelry on the bag. It is not a second tote. If a gate posts a 12 by 6 by 12 clear bag, measure the bag. The charm should not push the loaded tote over the posted envelope.

Clear bag, still a size cap

Disney parks do not require a clear bag as the default. Some concerts and stadium-style nights in this metro do. Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules still cap bags at 24 by 15 by 18 inches in those theme parks and water parks. Clear is a material. It is not a free pass on size. A flamingo on the zipper of a see-through tote is fine if the tote itself passes, and if the charm is not glass.

Universal lockers and stroller handles catch long hangs. A bag charm that swings below the zipper can snag. Clip it to an interior loop for thrill rides. A split ring is slower to change and harder to lose in a pool bag. A lobster opens fast at the hotel drawer.

What belongs on the zipper

A face you want seen from a tram line. A letter. A small plate. Not the week’s keys, not a bottle opener you will be asked about at screening, not glass. The walk bag still needs a bottle upright and sunscreen in a zip pouch. The charm is the mark on the bag, not the packing list.
